update: so, i ended up geting From Icarus custom-framed for about 60$, dropping me down to an amazing amount of 30$ cash on hand. worth it, but not really financially exciting.

my computer died, almost a month ago now.
haven't really done a whole lot of visual art since then, for obvious reasons
so, because i need about 200$ to buy new parts, and i've only got about 100$...
i'm pretty much out of the game for a while.

my backup computer can play a couple old games and has OpenOffice on it, so i've still been writing.
honestly, as much as i love digital art and photography, writing is the career path i'd rather take anyways.

in other news,
today i printed my first piece in large-format, a nicely-sized version of 'From Icarus'.
so i'll have to get that framed and then maybe i'll take some pictures of the finished piece.
but this has me inspired now.

i'm opening up my photography gallery for prints, by the way.
i plan on printing them through shutterfly, so if you see a piece you'd like printed, tell me!
i'll be selling them for an undecided amount, but not all of the pictures may be available.
